I like the tag for this, that completes the conversation and writes the unsaid in this line of mini-photo-comics. "Don't let anyone tell you how to live your life. Hey, are you listening to me? (And get a rebellious haircut)." Even 'movements' like punk or hipster, that are apparently all about subverting the rules of society, come with rules, or guidelines, or an image that comes with them.
I listen to punk sometimes, and I call myself a feminist. But I also like conventional etiquette, pop music, baking, and fashion. Everyone is full of little contradictions. I like that about people, and about the world. I embrace it, and I feel like the writers at A Softer World do to.
