Sandals
Even though in winter, and a lot of the rest of the year, I opt for at least an inch under my heel - sometimes, by the time I shed my winter boots, flat shoes feel harder to walk in - I adore flatter-than-flat sandals. It's almost like walking around barefoot, but for that to be a maintainable illusion, the sandals have to be as light as possible, and the trend for super-embellished ones the past few years sort of ruins it for me. These ones are wonderful - light, real leather, relatively easy to slip on and off for walks along the beach, in colour options that make me consider buying a second pair - and what's even better, they haven't rubbed at all.
