Summer Tracks IV

I don't know why I haven't made this a summer track until now, I guess it had slipped my mind. Even though punk isn't very summery, the reason for this Undertones track being on this list is pretty obvious from the name - 'Here Comes The Summer'. It's short, and very much to the point, although I wouldn't necessarily describe it as sweet. It's an excellent example of the optimism of the first days of summer though, the days spent looking for sandals and sunglasses, and making plans to make the most of free time with friends (you can tell I haven't reached the point in life when I don't get a long summer holiday, but this is the last one). And then it gets stuck in your head, and you're wandering around all day with the chorus playing over and over 'here comes the summer, dudududu, here comes the summer dudududu...' And for the 'baby-punk' inside me, the idea of a definite summer track that has nothing  to do with dance music or Ibiza is very appealing.
