Today marked the non-official End of my undergraduate career, my final exam. The past month has been full of 'last's - the last lecture, the last deadline, the last tutor meeting, the last exam - and for most of my classmates it means the end of studying. My place on a Masters course means that for me, the only last I've actually had was today's last exam, a two hour long, 11 page race for the finish. Now that it's done, and I've done all the little other mundane things that had to be done today, I feel oddly flat, with nothing to be studying for, no reading that I really should be doing instead of poking at the internet - a little like a robot with no purpose, waiting for something else to appear. It hasn't quite hit me that other than restaurant shifts all my time is my own now, and I can do whatever I fancy. Or maybe I'll just wander off down to the beach with my book...
